Join Susan and other writers (or other people who write) — aspiring, professional and exploring  — as we find ways to dig into our hearts and souls to tell the REAL stories waiting within or to juice up the stories you’re working on. 

We’ll play some games.  We’ll learn some writing tricks. We’ll get to know each other in a safe place and find the triggers that open your heart to the portal of your Truth. 

You will be surprised at what you create.

Bring paper and your favorite writing instrument – yes, we will write by hand.

Your Coach – Susan McCabe, Principal, Hannah, Ink

Susan McCabe has made her living writing for over 40 years. Starting her career as a broadcast journalist in a small market, she quickly discovered she couldn’t raise her two sons on the salary or the demands of round-the-clock news.  So, she went to the dark side – public relations and international marketing for various industries from health care to insurance, food processing, law, product safety testing and (as they say) more. Always writing, training other writers, and crafting material for the press, events, theater, broadcast, and print media.  As soon as the kids were launched she escaped corporate work and the Midwest to be a free-lance writer on the magical Isle of Vashon. Today she’s still free-lancing as principal for Hannah, Ink and as author of Hot Flashes Cold Showers on Substack.  Susan’s superpower is pulling her readers’ in by their heart strings.
