What’s So Scary About Money? A Three Part Series

What’s So Scary About Money? A Three Part Series
November 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
$45.00
The answer is simpler than it looks; more complex than it appears…
Women want tools to create greater financial stability and autonomy, and a forum to share and work through their complex fears in relation to money.
To ensure we have a healthy relationship with money, it’s important to explore how we ‘feel’ about it: what do we want from the relationship? Do we nurture or ignore it and why? Are we willing to learn more about both the practical aspects of finances and our internal motivations when it comes to finance management? Each session will begin with a discussion on basic terminology to ensure we are on the same page as well as each participant naming for themselves what they would like out of this group experience. From there the discussion will organically move to a concept appropriate for the group.
- These classes are a 3 part series and will take place on 11/7, 11.14 & 11/28 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm
- $45 for the 3 class session
- Max class size 8
Here’s a sampling of topics we might discuss based upon out attendee’s interest and time are:
- Why am I so scared of money
- The Paradox of Wealth
- Embracing Luck and Risk
- Lifestyle Creep
- Strategies to Break the Cycles
We welcome back last session’s Financial Literacy teacher Catherine Cochrane. Joining Catherine for fall is Laurel Durrett, licensed mental health counselor and embodied awareness coach with years of experience supporting women as they move through internal barriers that block awareness of freedom and empowerment.
As co-facilitators Catherine will offer expertise in the field of financial well-being and Laurel will bring support and guidance as we unpack fears and move toward empowerment around money.
