Next Mountain – What is Yours to do Now? A three session exploration.

October 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

What is yours now to do?

As illusions continue to tire, weather to alarm and fellow creatures to struggle, how do we go about finding and facing the next mountain –

for ourselves and for our community?

Humans are not meant to face such quandaries alone.  Plants, birds, insects, other mammals and indigenous people all move in concert with each other.  Our ancestors would be engaging repeatedly around their campfires, sharing what they heard from wolves, trees and mountains. That is our biological legacy.

We born in the first world are blocked – merely by our upbringing – from the wealth that naturally arises from inquiring with others. Uncertainty is part of being alive.  As the shiny promises of modernity disappoint, we desperately need to address our predicaments collectively. Our brains evolved that way.  A Cree legend tells that we are always on a mountain, serving various community roles.

Join us in three “Campfire” sessions:  shared inquiry will open our bellies and light our way.   The process is informed by brain science: recruiting ancient wiring that naturally boosts collective wellbeing.

We’ll meet new and old selves, using each other’s eyes, ears and hearts as we explore what’s up for us now.  We’ll tenderly unearth what compels and what is longed for at this juncture.

We’ll reflect in trios and share as a cohort.  These three sessions will leave you in clearer sight of your next mountain, with advocate-partners to cheer your climb and opportunities to boost theirs.

  • 9:00am – 12:00pm
