FREE SUPPORT GROUP – Moms of Neurodivergent Kids

FREE SUPPORT GROUP – Moms of Neurodivergent Kids
October 4 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Supporting parents who are supporting their children.
So often I talk with parents about how isolating it is to have a child with needs that are considered “different” than the needs of their “typically” developing peers (I use these terms loosely because every child is special and wonderful, and I don’t even know if there is a “typical” child).
This group will provide a support group of women/female-Identified parents whose children need a little extra something. We will discuss a range of topics from what to do if your child receives a diagnosis, to what can you expect from an IEP meeting to how do you handle your child not having friends.
I want every parent to feel supported so they can in turn support their children.

This is a FALL SERIES of classes in our Key Community programming. These classes are FREE to attend. They are also a commitment that we ask from attendees – to build and embed in community and to support each other. Registration is required and attendance for the duration of the program is strongly encouraged (but we also understand the need to be flexible).
