Lunch & Learn – Staying Healthy with the seasons with Emily Vogt

March 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$10 – $15

Join Emilia, a Coaches Journey of Intrinsic Health Graduate and learn how to experience more of the nourishing, soulful side of the cold season. So you can enjoy it, rather than just endure it. Does the thought of winter make you feel heavy? Does the relationship you normally enjoy with nature get interrupted during this time of year? Do you wish you could be more receptive to the gifts this season surely has to offer? Do you long to feel more uplifted and more trusting of the wisdom of the cycles of nature?

In your core – you know that winter has important gifts for you. That the dark and cold holds deep and necessary rest and replenishment and healing and wisdom for you. You know that every difficult passage holds medicine to help you grow and evolve. But how can you become more receptive to these gifts? How might you soak them in and let them work their magic? How might you be more present for the gems of the season?

January – Winter – Staying hydrated. Hydration may not seem like an important thing to do during winters, as we don’t lose a lot of sweat during cold weather. Staying hydrated may seem like an easy enough thing to do during winters, but it may not be so for a number of reasons. The dryness in the air may dehydrate our bodies quicker than we can imagine and most often we don’t even feel thirsty, so our need for adequate water may remain unmet. The effects of dehydration may be subtle and hence, less noticeable during winters, but it’s important to work preemptively to replenish the fluid reserves of the body, in order to avoid any physical discomfort in the future.

April 2023 class:

SPRING as a season of CLEANSE and Renewal CLASS

We will focus on the natural cycles and how we might align ourselves more with these cycles to achieve optimal health.  Spring for me is a season of true renewal and cleansing— both inside and out. It has come to symbolize the time of change for clearing past patterns and a few pounds of Winter to lighten up and create space for fresh and new ones to emerge and bring greater vitality and health.
