This is a FALL COMMUNITY EVENT and is part of our Key Community programming. This event is FREE to attend. Registration is NOT required for this event, but our classroom space tops out at about 15 participants – so please make sure to be here on time to find a spot!

About our facilitator – Kerry Wallingford, RICP, ChFC, CLU

Kerry has been a member of the insurance industry since 1986.  Her entry into the financial services industry was due to a comment from her father who said “Honey, why don’t you interview with insurance companies I understand they will train you.”  Little did she know what a fateful comment that would turn out to be.

Kerry is an 22 year MDRT member with 11 TOT qualifications 14 COT qualifications.  She has spoken at Top of the Table on the Main Platform and in focus sessions.  She has also spoken at the annual meeting and at many company and industry association meetings around the country.   In addition she has frequently spoken on the local News station King 5 on a variety of financial planning topics.

Her passion is helping her clients turn the stresses of finances into a calm and hopeful conversation. Her team is known for their compassion and sincere caring for their clients.  Most of the clients she has tend to comment on how “easy you make this”.

Kerry is an owner with Lion Street, a fiercely independent producer group located out of Austin Texas.  She is one of 200+ highly successful owners collaborating on insurance topics that help their clients utilize the value of life insurance to accomplish their financial objectives.

Kerry is a dedicated volunteer in her community and with the MDRT.  She is a past president of her local Rotary club and current Treasurer.  She volunteers at the local Children’s Hospital in Seattle and serves on the local Kent Guild for Children’s Hospital.  She has served on the Highline Schools Foundation Board as a member and President and was consistently involved in her daughters’ school fund raisers as they were growing up.

Kerry and her husband Pete have been married since 1990 and have two daughters, Bevynn and Makenna who are both married.  When you speak to Kerry at some point she will mention her daughters as they are the light in her life. When asked why she wanted to be in this industry her response was; “I want a career that will constantly challenge me intellectually, give me unlimited earning potential, allow me to help people and be able to raise a family.”  She has done all of those quite successfully over the years.
