Investing for Women with Teresa Louis

Women often lack the tools and knowledge required to accumulate wealth and ultimately secure their future. A UBS survey by Michael Fischer, May 10,2021 shows that 7 in 10 men and nearly half of women note that the husband takes responsibility for long-term financial decisions, such as investing, financial and estate planning.

Bio:
Teresa Louis (aka Tess) is an Investment Coach with a primary focus on behavioral personal finance and wealth building through investing. I have an MBA in General Management and Certifications in Financial Derivatives & Risk Management from the University of Chicago.
My Story:
I worked as a Technology Project Manager for a career and only began investing about 15 years ago, in my forties. Confusion, overwhelm and fear were the dominant emotions related to my personal finances. I had missed a 20-year window of opportunity for wealth building, enabled by a lack awareness and knowledge of financial topics. I eventually took control of my finances by committing the time and energy to bridge this knowledge gap and want to share my lessons learnt along the way.
